Can y’all even believe it’s 2020?

What were you doing 20 years ago?

Remember Y2K?

Well, whether we’re talking about the year 2000 or 2020, or whatever year, most of us get the itch to reform our lives, reflect on the new year, make new goals … it’s just in our psyches to clean mental house once a year. And we know this is manufactured, that there isn’t really any difference between reforming in, say, July, or in January, but there is nothing wrong with using any motivational momentum – manufactured or not – to grow rather than stagnate, but we have likely all heard statistics like this from US News and World Report:

■ Some research suggests more than 40 percent of Americans make resolutions and, at the end of the year, only 8 percent feel they were successful in achieving their goals…

■ Or this: That according to 2018 data from the athlete social media network Strava, who analyzed more than 30 million fitness records from its users , most of our annual commitments start to fall apart the second Friday in January, which this year is Jan. 10.

How do we maximize the New Year mentality for optimum growth?

The Belle Curve hosts launch into a new season and new year by sharing their reflection process, how they set goals, and specific ways they plan to grow in 2020.

They also share an exciting way that the Belle Curve community can support the show, partner with us, and get access to extra value through Patreon. Please consider going to https://www.patreon.com/BelleCurvePod and learning more about our tiered support levels. We’d greatly appreciate it!!
